I've come down with a pretty bad cold so I'm drinking hot ginger tea with local honey. I'm also trying to get as many healing foods into my body as possible. Although it was a cool morning here today, I craved a smoothie after my tea. I had some dandelion leaves in the fridge so I concocted my smoothie around the healing properties of dandelion leaves (which are good for your liver and kidneys). A tea usually made with dandelion leaves is good for colds. Today, I've added it into my smoothie. Here's my concoction for the day. It is very tasty and the zing of the ginger is a good wake up!
