I had some leftover roasted beets and carrots in my fridge. I always keep frozen bananas in the freezer so I decided to try a combination of them in a smoothie I had this morning.
Ingredients
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup of Brazil nut milk
1/2 cup of fresh thyme tea (any tea or just water is good - I just had extra)
1 small roasted beet
1/2 apple
2 small carrots
1/2" ginger root
Ice cubes
Add ingredients into Vitamix and blend! Not real, real sweet but sweet and refreshing enough for a hot 85 degree morning!
