Afterwards, Tagore played guitar and Joe sang Girl from Ipenema in Portuguese. A truly lovely evening.
The night after Thanksgiving, my friends and I went to Classic Quiche to have a lighter meal after stuffing ourselves silly the day before. We were in luck when Joe came in and said his gig was cancelled; so we got to hear him play and, of course, I sang...but this time not alone. My friend, Tagore, sang along with me. Afterwards, Tagore played guitar and Joe sang Girl from Ipenema in Portuguese. A truly lovely evening.

Loved it Kati! Had a flashback to the 70's singing this song together!! Great job! Love that your passion for music hasn't faded...if anything, its nice to see you get more & more comfortable singing in front of a crowd!

Kathleen...Thanks. I also remember practicing to sing it for the 9th grade concert and Miss Millett (I think that was the principal's name) cancelled the show. So, I got a chance to sing it again. No crowd though...only a few friends so I was comfortable. Put me in front of a lot of strangers and it's a different story! I love you too!
