When I read this quote, I was reminded when I was a young girl back in 1976 when I met my love. He introduced me to a book by Aldous Huxley called "Brave New World." I was a sophomore in high school and never even heard of it. So, I read it. I remember being intrigued but didn't quite understand it. But I knew it had something important to say. Interestingly enough, as a literature major, I was never required to read this book in college yet, my friend, had it as required reading at his Catholic high school in NYC. It should be required reading in high school.
